Uwharrie Ridge Outfitters offers guided whitetail deer, squirrel and woodcock hunts across more than a dozen properties in central North Carolina.

All prices are per hunter.

FAQs

  • No. Solo hunters are welcome.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at booking. The remaining balance is due the day before your hunt.

  • You must give at least 48 hours notice to cancel. The deposit is non-refundable.

  • Yes. Youth whitetail hunts are $100 for a half day or $200 for a full day.

  • We operate across more than 12 private properties in western and central Randolph County, North Carolina. Properties range from 10 to 150 acres. Exact locations are provided after booking.

  • No personal ATVs or UTVs are permitted. We provide an ATV to recover harvested game.

  • Dogs are welcome on squirrel and woodcock hunts. No dogs on deer hunts.

  • Yes, please bring your own rifle and ammunition. If you need a firearm, a gun with ammunition is available to rent for $30 per day. Camo is available to borrow at no charge.

  • You must have a valid North Carolina hunting license and proof of hunter education completion. Please have both available on the day of your hunt.

  • Yes. All hunters will sign a waiver before the hunt.

  • One buck per trip. One doe per day.

  • Squirrel and woodcock harvests follow current North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) bag limits.

  • Yes. Uwharrie Ridge Outfitters is one of the few outfitters in North Carolina offering guided American woodcock hunts. These hunts are $400 per day and dogs are welcome.

  • All fitness levels are welcome. We will work with you to match the hunt to your physical ability.
